Verona, especially renowned for the legendary story of Romeo & Juliet which inspired the Shakespeare masterpiece. In Piazza Bra you will enjoy a relaxed welcome dinner facing the Arena, the roman  amphiteater where operas and music events take place during the yearly open air festival. The morning after a private guided tour will reveal all the highlights of the city, covering Romeo’s and Juliet’s House, the Roman Arena, the Roman Theater, San Zeno church, the innovative Castelvecchio Museum, lovely squares and dramatic landscapes. The day after you will discover the vineyard-covered hills of Valpolicella and have the opportunity to taste top examples of Amarone, the noble wine of the region during the visit of a top wine estate. In the afternoon you will reach Avio visiting the medieval Castle, among the most famous and ancient fortified monuments of Trentino, still dominating the Vallagarina thanks to its impressive size. Then you will reach Rovereto.

In the morning you will experience the modern art masterpieces and the building of MART Museum, and then you will reach the alpine side of “Gardasee” in Riva, longtime preferred spot of Absburg Princess Sissi, for a  lakeside lunch. Back to Rovereto we will enjoy the city center and the museum built around the life and works of art of Fortunato Depero, an extraordinary futurist artist. The morning after is dedicated to meet local grappa and wine makers: a local family with its long experience in producing classic and special grappas, in particular flavored and “monovitigno” and a renowned wine estate, whose caves was called the “cathedral of sparkling wine”. After this we will reach Valsugana for lunch and for a real special trip at Arte Sella, on open air museum where wood, nature and trees are colors, marble and canvas used to create real masterpieces. At the end of this day Trento is the perfect place to rest, spend the night and, the day after, let us discover the imposing beauty of the massive Castello del Buonconsiglio and the multi-faceted architecture of Renzo Piano MUSE, the Science Museum.

These first two South Tyrolean days are dedicated to the discovery of one of the most fascinating and legendary natural heritage sites in Italy: the Dolomites. The first day will begin with a truly special breakfast, at 2096 meters asl, reaching the Oberholz refuge by chairlift. You will then experience a sequence of enchanting places: the mountain lake Carezza, the Vajolet towers (under which we will eat at a mountain hut) and then the elegant Canazei, the Sella pass that will take us first to Selva and then in Ortisei from which we will reach the Alpe di Siusi. The second day you will explore Bressanone with a visit to the Abbey of Novacella and to Val Pusteria where in Brunico you will visit the Mountain Messner Museum by Zaha Hadid and moving furher to the enchanting green mountain lake Braies. At the amazing property that will host you for two nights it will be possible to enjoy a unique relaxing experience: the typical hay bath, where the guest is wrapped in hay and warm water cushions at 42 ° celsius for 20 minutes, to which a relaxation and detox session follows. The next day it is quieter and we will spend it in Bolzano, with its elegant shops under the arcades, the colorful and sparkling Piazza delle Erbe, the new art space Museion and the historic hotel Laurin that will host us for lunch.

Leaving Bolzano we go to the fortress of Castel Firmiano where you will  visit the first of the 6 museums that Reinhold Messner built and dedicated to the mountain, characterized by an architecture that blends and respects the nature of the rock and that of the old castle. From here you will head towards the characteristic village of Lana where a cable car will take us to a mountain resort, designed by Matteo Thun and where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon we expect a wine tasting in a futuristic wine estate in Nals. The morning after  the nearby amazing Trauttmansdorff Gartens are waiting for us for a botantist guided visit. Later we will reach Merano for a guided tour to discover the city, its characteristic corners and thus discovering the reasons why for over one hundred and fifty years it continues to be a top destination for elegance and privacy. The afternoon we will spend to rest and relax at Meran new Municipal Therme, always by Matteo Thun. Your last day is totally devoted to the so called Winestrasse (Wine Road), visiting the a couple of local excellent cellars.
