We had a wonderful experience. Matteo and Barbara were great to work with. We started planning this trip before the Covid shutdown and were scheduled to go during the shutdown . Matteo was attentive to our concerns, responsive to our panic filled questions and honorable in extending/postponing our trip.
When we felt comfortable to reschedule Barbara was there every step of the way to answer all our questions and schedule anything we needed.
Each day we would say it was the best day and then the next excursion topped the last! This was the first time to Italy for all 8 of us and we just gave them general ideas of what we wanted to do. Matteo and Barbara created a well rounded trip with bustling days off set by a few days in the country. Our hotels were 1st class with perfect locations. In the heart of Rome, an old converted monastery in the countryside (with a spa) and a hotel with a close up view of the Ponte Vecchio Bridge! We had a great time on the guided Vespa tour lead by Fabrizio, museum tours with Grace, winery tour with Claudia and lunches! We loved the cooking day with Laura! Even those who have never stepped in a kitchen! At the end of the trip we felt like we had experienced many parts of life in Italy from the active city life to the winery and farm life.
Barbara was completely on top of everything so we had no issues. It took me a few days to realize she was checking in with all of our van drivers, tour guides and activities to make sure all were on time and going as planned. Thank you, Barbara!
Before we started our trip they sent us a detailed list of our activities, drivers, tour guides, wineries. The addresses and contact information. This was a lifesaver when we left a phone behind!!
