We had a wonderful trip to Italy and want to thank you again for all of your help.
We were very pleased with your help and suggestions, attention to detail, and responsiveness whenever we had changes or questions, including during the trip.
Everything ran very smoothly from the train rides, to the drivers and guides who met us where they were supposed to and taught us so much about the areas of Italy that we saw.
Hotel Lunetta in Rome was great – it was a perfect choice for our stay in Rome – we loved the location and the people there were very nice.
Our guide at Pompeii was very knowledgeable and it was a perfect stop on the way to the Amalfi coast.
We loved the hotel you have chosen in Positano too and Salvatore, our driver on the Amalfi coast was wonderful. He gave us a lot of information about the area and stopped often so we could admire the view and take pictures.
We are so happy that you suggested the hike on The Path of the Gods. Our guide, Maurizio, did a great job and it was a different way to see a part of the Amalfi coast. We really enjoyed it.
It was a long morning getting from Positano to the Naples train station to the Florence train station to Lucca. We really liked Lucca and would have liked to spend more time there. We got there at about 1 or 2:00, just as many of the shops were closing. We stayed until about 5:30.
Cinque Terra was very nice but it seemed like a lot of traveling to get there. We realize we cut our stay in Pietrasanta to two nights, which made it seem a little rushed. (It was a nice surprise to see the author Dan Brown staying in our hotel in Pietrasanta and giving a speech on the square on one of the nights we were there.)
Our driver in Tuscany did a great job picking places to stop for pictures and visits, and we enjoyed our visit to the winery.
Hotel Lunetta gave us a great room when we returned to Rome. We did manage to see the Pope and really enjoyed the Borghese Gallery – thank you again for the tickets.
We would definitely recommend you to our friends should they choose to travel to Italy in the future and we do hope to be able to come back to see some more of your beautiful country.
