We had a great time and everything went quite smoothly. With the one exception of not being told about the porter service in Positano, everything was a 10! We will definitely recommend your firm to our friends and will use you when we return to Italy I think we will come back and go to Milan, Florence and go wine tasting in Tuscany. We’ll do that in a couple of years. Next year, in the fall we are spending 5 weeks in France. I would rate the 3 hotels on the coast a 10. Each was very nice in different ways. I think our favorite staff and service levels were at La Scalinatella but the other two were very nice as well. Like I said, we’d give all 3 a 10 rating.
Mama Agatta’s was a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10. They do a fantastic job. We had an experience, along with the couples we met that made it even more fun, that we will remember for a lifetime. It truly was a phenomenal experience. I highly recommend it. The same with the hike of the Gods. Maurecio is fantastic. So kind, informative and helpful. He shared so much of his experience and life with us. We loved it. Luigi who took us on the hike to Capri was very nice and helpful too.
The guide for the Pompeii day was great. Her English was very good and easy to understand. She worked around our time schedule to show us the highlights in each place. Personally, 2 hours in Herculean and Pompeii were perfect. We had seen enough. 4 hours in Pompeii would have been too long for us so I appreciated the fact that you had both places scheduled that day. The winery was great. The food and wine were good and service was really good too. We actually bought several cases of wine that we had shipped back.
All of the drivers were excellent and very, very nice and accommodating. Even the youngest driver we had, who picked us up in Sorrento was very nice and provided great service, right up until he left me with all my luggage in the middle of small road in Positano and pointed to walk in “that direction” and left us there. I can only imagine there was some miscommunication somewhere in your process. Departing the hotel the porters handled everything and the driver paid them.
We are so happy that we went for an extended time. We were able to relax and take it all in. Having drivers was great. I’m so happy I didn’t have to drive. This was the trip of a lifetime. Thank you to you and the team for doing such a nice job. Kimberly has all the pictures and she left for business trip today. When she returns I will send you some photos.
