Hello Matteo!
Our trip to Italy was a dream come true! It may sound silly, but there truly are no words to describe how much we enjoyed traveling in your beautiful country. I’ll do my best to describe some of the highlights of our trip, but please know my words only scratch the surface of what’s in our hearts.
The itinerary your team planned for us was perfect! Just the right amount of sightseeing, experiences, free time, and restaurant reservations. The hotels were all so unique and beautiful. There are so many highlights for us – we loved everything! I suppose what we loved the most, in a general sense, was the personal service – private transportation with friendly drivers (The driver in Tuscany was our favorite), private tours with knowledgeable guides (all of them were fantastic), and professional, attentive staff in each hotel. We were spoiled in the best way possible. We feel like we have many friends in Italy now….what a treasure!
Some specific experiences that we absolutely loved were the Bacari tour in Venice. It was the perfect way to begin our time in Italy!!
In Rome, we could not have asked for a better Vespa driver/guide th! He obviously loves what he does, and we experienced an exhilarating tour of the less touristy parts of Rome. I could not stop smiling the entire time! We stopped for a delicious lunch of Italian street food in Trastevere, and had a Vespa picnic! So fun! The guide coached Ken on using the phrase “Ciao, Bella!” which I hope will become a regular part of his vocabulary now.
Each restaurant you reserved for us was wonderful! We loved that they were outside the busy areas and were home-owned. It’s impossible to choose a favorite, but the most memorable were the one in Venice, but every one of our dinners was truly a special experience.
The Hotel in Sorrento was amazing! We could not believe the incredible view from our room – absolutely breathtaking! The luxurious breakfast with its impeccable service and the rooftop bar at sunset were also wonderful! We loved Sorrento and the Amalfi coast! And of course, the limoncello!!
We would not change a thing about our trip! Everything about it was perfect for us. The only recommendation we might add is that more instructions for exchanging the tickets for the high-speed ferry to Capri for the paper voucher would have been helpful, but we managed just fine.
The customer service provided by you and your team, from the initial planning communication to the prompt in-country messaging, was superb! We felt confident and comfortable knowing your expertise was ready and available!
Thank you, Matteo and company, for planning such an amazing and memorable trip for us. We will never forget our Italian dream vacation!! We are already dreaming about our next trip to beautiful Italia.
