Days 1-3 Stresa (Lake Maggiore)
Explore Stresa, the elegant internationally famous holiday resort on the shores of the Lake Maggiore with its spectacular views and areas of historical and architectural interest. Days 4-6 Venice
Discover the vineyard-covered hills of Valpolicella. You will have the opportunity to taste top examples of Amarone, the noble wine of the region during the visit of the estate and the winery. Lunch with local products and Valpolicella wines pairing.
Arrive in Verona, one of Italy’s most important touristic cities, especially renowned for the legendary story of Romeo and Juliet and for its is the well kept Roman amphitheater, the Arena, where operas and music events take place during the yearly open air Festival.
Venice: private walking Tour of Venice Castello District, the largest of Venice’s six districts and probably the most varied one through the finest architecture and monuments as well as small hidden gems well off the tourist track.
Private guided Bacari Tour with local native guide. The Bacaro is a typical Venetian bar, offering delicious local snacks (called "Cicheti") and local wines (called "Ombre").
Day 2 Lake Maggiore Express and Centovalli Train
Unique experience to discover the Lake and Valleys by ferry and narrow gauge train. Departing Stresa with the ferry Lake Maggiore Express, cruise up to the northern tip of Lake Maggiore: Locarno. Enjoy this lovely Swiss village then take the picturesque little train "Centovalley" train for a scenic journey through many bridges and viaducts that span the valleys. The journey ends in Domodossola where you will board a regular train back to Stresa. (Euro 45 pp, min. 2 pax)
Day 6 Carnival Masks Workshop
During centuries masks makers had considerably refined their art. The artisan will explain the ancient procedure of creation of a Venetian Mask, through the clay modeling, the creation of the negative mould in chalk, and the application of papier-mache. In the practical part you can choose two handmade masks to decorate between theatre masks, traditional, fantasy, for children, etc. (Euro 95 pp, min. 10 pax)
