Days 1-2: Toast to Milan with Campari

Soak up the buzz of Milan at your own pace, then relax at the glamorous Terrazzo Aperol, sipping one of their signature aperitifs paired with views of Milan’s Duomo. Roam Milan with a private guide: admire the splendid Gothic Cathedral; window-shop in Italy’s oldest active mall, Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II; stroll the pedestrian Piazza della Scala with its famed opera house; admire the 15th-century citadel Sforza Castle and finally, see Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, The Last Supper. Enjoy a special lunch at Villa Campari, the former head office of the old Campari production facility, now a restaurant. Round off your visit with a class at Campari Academy, discovering the secrets of the red bitter aperitif made of over 60 ingredients, today famous as part of the Negroni cocktail.

Days 3-4: Explore Turin, the Home of Martini

Days 5-7: Visit Padua and marvel at its medieval city center

En route to Padua, stop to visit two longstanding spirit producers. First tour the Poli Distillery, established in 1898, and taste their renowned grappa, then continue on to Luxardo, one of the oldest European liqueur producers for a sampling of their sweet drinks. Visit Padua and its medieval city center over an aperitif, with typical Spritz cocktail. Discover this hidden gem away from its touristy areas, with a guided tour taking in off-the-radar sights such as a bustling Italian street market.
