SUMMARY

This tour features 8 nights of accommodations in boutique properties (7 nights in Cortina d’Ampezzo,  1 night Venice  area ), with daily breakfasts. Starting and ending in Venice Airport, this tour includes private transportation by deluxe van. A part of this vacation package are also several meals as well as different tastings of local delicacies, multiple city tours and day trips, all with English-speaking guides and entrances to listed attractions. Professional English-speaking assistance is provided for the duration of the tour.

Arrive in Venice, Meet our professional English speaking driver and continue to Cortina d’Ampezzo and your accommodations. The balance of the day is free at leisure to relax and start enjoying the resort of Cortina the “pearl” of the Dolomites. The Cinque Torri (Five Towers) are without doubt
one of the symbols of Cortina d’Ampezzo. Thanks to their peculiar shape, they are instantly
recognizable from any other peak or valley in the area and this makes them a tourist attraction.
Enjoy the stunning view on the mountains from Rifugio Scoiattoli that you will reach by the local
chairlift. Continue with a guided trail (3 – 4 hours) to the scenic Rifugio Cinque Torri for an
exceptional views towards the mountains Croda da Lago and Lastoi de Formin. Explore the Southern area of Cortina. With you private driver you will enjoy a scenice drive through Passo Rolle, the Villages of San Martino di Castroza, Primiero nd the Canali Valley. With the cable car you will reach the rooftop terrace of Punta Rocca station (3265 m) for the gorgeous 360°view of the Marmorada group.

Enjoy a drive through two of the most beautiful valleys of the Dolomities: Val Gardena and Val di Fassa. From Passo Pordoi take the famous lifts that in less than 5 minutes you will take you to the mountain station at 2950 m above sea level in a universe of Dolomite rock unparalleled in the world. This panoramic balconies is rightly called the “Terrace of the Dolomites”.

Drive along the Val Pusteria you will stop in the towns of Brunek and Dobbiaco. The day continue with a stop for photos to Lake Braise one of the icons of the Dolomities.

 

You tour of the Dolomites continues with an easy hiking excursions with a local Alpine guide. The Tre
Cime di Lavaredo also called the Drei Zinnen, are probably one of the best-known mountain groups
in the Alps. In the afternoon with your driver you will reach Lake Misurina, framed by the Three
Peaks which is also called the “Pearl of Cadore” because of its clear water and the magnificent
mountain scenery that surrounds it.

The final part of the trip is Veneto and  Venice.  En route to Venice stop in the local wine estate in Valdobiadene for the visit of the estate, wine tasting and lunch.
