This luxury Italy honeymoon package features 13 nights of exclusive accommodations (3 nights in Rome, 3 nights in Positano, 2 nights in Florence, 2 nights in Chianti and 2 nights in Venice) in 4-star hotels with full buffet breakfasts and a welcome honeymoon package at each hotel. Included are sightseeing visits in Rome, Pompeii, Florence and Venice, with all entrance fees are included. All tours are private with local English-speaking guides. Also included: a wine tasting and lunch atop Mt. Vesuvius, a wine tasting and lunch in Chianti, a chef-led cooking class in Chianti and a full-day excursion to Capri. With Rome as the arrival point and Venice as the departure point, this package includes private airport and train station transfers by deluxe van (with an English-speaking driver) plus the high-speed first-class train from Rome to Naples and on to Florence and then Venice. Indulge in an Italian winery visit, with a tasting and lunch on the slopes of 4200-ft Mt. Vesuvius before exploring the archaeological site of Pompeii. Discover how life in this once bustling city unfolded before the terrible eruption in 79 AD. Take in the ruins of aristocratic houses, Hellenistic-style temples and public thermal baths. See the Amphitheater, where citizens gathered to watch gladiators fight. Continue on to Capri. Finding its home in the Gulf of Naples, Capri is the jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea, which has continuously enchanted intellectuals, artists and writers alike.
