Thank you for planning a wonderful 10 day trip for us!
I am happy to provide feedback…
Highlights:
-Every driver arrived on time and we were never left waiting
-Our tour guides were there at the curb to meet us and gave us wonderful tours – it was so nice to bypass the long lines, especially at the Vatican!
-Our first 2 accommodations (Rome & Sorrento) were outstanding and the friendliest staff.
-The winery was a great local stop and we were happy the kids had fun too.
-The boat captain was awesome and showed us all of the sights around Capri. Believe it or not, at that lunch we were seated next to people from our very hometown!!
-The beach Club you recommended was the perfect spot and we enjoyed the day lounging and playing cards with the family.
The only thing that was off for us was the last hotel in Naples.
Beautiful hotel. Allowed us to check in early which was great. The staff just wasn’t the nice, accommodating people we had already experienced in Sorrento & Rome.
We went up to the empty sundeck for a drink and they weren’t open yet…they said they needed 30 min. Nearly 90 minutes later and it still wasn’t open.
The stairs were closed so you had to use the elevators. And believe me when I tell you the signage for the rooftop elevator sends you in a giant circle.
We made a reservation on the rooftop restaurant for our last nice dinner. Apparently the hotel was throwing a free welcome reception for the guests at the same time – although it seemed they didn’t inform all of their staff about the party. It was all very disjointed.
I’m the end, we had a nice dinner and took wonderful photos.
Overall, it was truly a fabulous vacation that exceeded our expectations! And It was so nice to do this with our teenaged kids. They had a great time and learned so much. We enjoyed sitting around the table at night and talk about the things we all learned!
