“Matteo, I am reflecting back on our trip to Italy and it was truly a trip of a lifetime! The ease that we had in traveling from city to city was amazing. Your drivers rock!
There were so many wonderful moments that it’s hard to pinpoint anything specific, so here goes:
My personal favorite was the Vespa tour. I had the honor of riding with Alexander so I had my own private tour throughout the city, not to mention how exhilarating it was to zoom through the streets of Rome!!! He was a wealth of information on the City’s history. St. Paul’s Basilica stands out as my favorite Basilica-it was amazing and there weren’t any crowds.
I move onto the cooking class in Florence—love, love Johhny and Laura! They made creating the pasta so easy-we were so entertained during dinner and ended with Johnny strumming the guitar.
The boat ride to Capri was amazing and again our guide Herme’s was so knowledgeable about the islands. He was very accommodating for our group.
Oh, also the Bacari’s in Venice were so much fun and Daniella made us feel like a local tasting all the Chiccetta’s!
Claire, Anna Marie, Manuel and Tonya were all well informed about your country and its history.
I came away so much more cultured than before.
We loved your choice of accommodations-my favorite was Hotel Minerva-
Being water fans, the coast of Almalfi and Cinque de Terre were breathtaking and I would love to visit there again.
