“Thanks so much for a wonderfully organized trip! We really appreciate all of it. We had a terrific time! Your organization is very impressive, and I’ve been bragging about you to others.
The wine day was wonderful. The first stop was a a little organic farm where the owner gave us a tour of her wine room, and then sat us down for tastings and a little food. It was perfect! Beautiful place! She talked to us while we tasted, telling us info and answering our numerous questions. This was the first place so we had questions!
The second place was really impressive – it was a large vineyard and the gentleman gave us a very detailed tour. Then we had the multi course lunch with different wines at each course- which was to die for!
And lastly, we went to a very small, family owned vineyard. It was a beautiful setting and he was very informative. We were pretty “relaxed” by this point, so it was the perfect place to end the “tour.”
We really enjoyed seeing the different vineyards and processes.
The driver, Giorgio, was very fun and knowledgeable. He spoke perfect English (as well as 6 other languages). He gave us a lot of detailed answers and lots of information about the area. Mike and Robert were full of questions as I’m sure you can imagine! I think all four of us would HIGHLY recommend him.
I hope this is what you were wanting to hear about. It was my favorite day of the whole trip – and that is a high standard because there were many really great days!
Thanks again for all of your planning.
Sally”
“The wine trip was really great! The English of the guide was excellent and was able to provide detailed information and answer questions about what we were seeing, the country, life in Italy, etc. The three wineries were all so different and each had its own character and methods which was very interesting. And seeing so much of the countryside was breathtaking! I enjoyed the first winery, as it was organic, and that was good to me. The lunch at our second (largest winery-Castello Monterinaldi) stop was wonderful–I didn’t want that lunch to end! It tasted so authentic. The third was a smaller winery, family owned I believe passed down. You really saw how hard they worked and appreciate their life styles. I would definitely recommend this tour for your clients. We all agreed this was one of the best days!”
