It could not have been better! From start to finish everything was first class. Every time our driver picked us up it was in a Mercedes Benz. The Italian trains, sitting in first class was comfortable and right on time. All our guides were fluent in English, very polite and knowledgeable. Our guide in Rome – Marco – was amazingly knowledgeable, then he told us his occupation! Good choice to lead an historical tour. We had a great drive around the Amalfi Coast. Incredible! Salvatore – our driver -guide, did such a thorough job. Good job on the hotels! Hotel Pasitea in Positano was a cool place. We had a great room with a great view! Matteo continued to amaze us! The hotel in Florence was also great! Beautiful! And, the best breakfast of all. We asked for some wine tastings in Piedmont and Tuscany we got 4 of them and stayed in really quaint towns; Siena and Alba. Our hotel in Siena was built in the 1500’s really neat place. We are not group travel people. Being escorted with our guide and just the two of us was very nice. Matteo and his staff were about as good and through as you can get. We wanted for nothing!!!! When we come back he will be our tour company for sure.
