Thank you for your message yesterday. Donnafugata was a nice place to stay for our first two nights. Good service and nice location. Beautiful golf courses.
Now we are in Ragusa Ibla. Hotel looks very nice. My wife loves it as the place makes her think about inspectore Montalbano…….

So far all fine. Matera is very special and a ‘must see’. Palazzo Gattini was a very good place to stay. It is on top of the hill with in front a nice square. As it is a dead-end street it is very quiet and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the views. Had good dinner at the place you booked. Overall it seems to be rather quiet in most places we came.
Visited Lecce which from our viewpoint is also a place to be seen with a fantastic Piazza Duomo.
Now at Borgo Egnazia and ready to leave for Rome where we look forward at the opera-concerto tonight.
