“For us Pietrasanta was the stand out hotel particularly when combined with the manager, Barbara. San Gimignano was the stand out township for us. For meals or restaurants the no 1 was Enoteca Tognoni on all counts whilst the food at Chianti lunch was up with it but not the service or the ambience (a tour – 30 Americans – arrived and dominated the place). The Cinque Terre was great, so too the guide.”
