Our personalized trip to Italy, designed by Fuoritinerario, was AWESOME in every way.
From the moment we were picked up by our first driver (what a delightful, very smart man), to the last night in Florence before flying home to Texas, each and every one of our personalized tours, as well as our excellent accommodations in the castles, was most AMAZING.
We really enjoyed our tour in the Chianti Region. We so enjoyed the selection of delicious cheeses in the tasting room and bought our favorites to take back home. Each time we had a taste, we fell into memories.
The truffle hunt was so enjoyable. It was exciting to see the dog search for the truffles buried underground and finally zero in on one for us to dig up and save in our 100-year-old truffle hunter’s leather bag! After the truffle hunting was done, we went to one of our wonderful cooking classes to learn how to prepare the truffles and combine them with handmade pasta! All along the way, we were learning Italian, and our hosts were learning some Texan! It was all so much fun, and we were all laughing while preparing the meals. Delicious food!!
