“Matteo and Daniela–
This was our first opportunity for international travel and we relied on your foresight and creativity. You molded it into a trip that flowed beautifully. We were busy throughout yet had adequate time to gather and reflect on our experiences.
There are some specifics that we’d like to share that we hope will be helpful to you as you plan other such trips for clients.
## The Hotels were all good quality sites; free breakfast was a plus
## In our opinion, Radda in Chianti was a bit remote and, in retrospect, we might have enjoyed one overnight in Sienna to be able to experience more of that city.
## Re: Venice – the staff at Palace Bonvecchiati was less than warm and welcoming to us as guests. Our guide for the day, Andrea, had a similar experience. FYI
## Though it was our decision, Le Cinque Terre was less than we expected and, given another chance, we would choose Santa Margherita/Portofino.
## Guides — our guides were all unique, passionate about the subject matter, and bright. Very personable, too. They enriched our experience beyond measure.
## Drivers — good and capable
## Rome — pleasantly discovered the Island of Rome (perhaps you could feature this unique area for future clients); also, though our schedule did not permit, we would have embraced the opportunity to attend the public week-end Papal audience at the Vatican. In our opinion, it would be a desirable event for Catholic travelers to Rome.
## Cell Phone was great help
## Thanks you for our lunch
## Were you able to get clarification on the rental car charges from Venice?
Finally, your constant attention to our itinerary was reassuring and helped to make this a wonderful experience.
Buona Pasqua!
