Generally speaking, the excursions were amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a wonderful lady who helped us through the airport and customs, which was a great start to the trip after a long flight. The Vespa tour was fun and informative. Fabulous way to kick off the trip! We saw all the main sites, and the guides were informative, which was great after a long day of traveling.
Our first meal was such a treat and was a perfect beginning to experiencing Roman food. The food was delectable, and the ambiance was breathtaking. Extra special for us as my son just read Julius Caesar and learned about this landmark and theater history. A very special thank you for the complimentary dinner!
The tours were excellent! Doing both in one day was a lot, but understandable since things were closed on Sunday.
Sorrento was charming, and we loved staying there. I would go back to this town a million times if there wasn’t so much more of Italy to see! Walking through the town every night was a highlight.
The hotel had undergone recent renovations, and the rooms and lobby were quite lovely, and our views were breathtaking!
My family was very eager for the pizza-making class, and it did not disappoint! The pizzaiolo was entertaining, and the food was delicious.
