We absolutely loved the cooking class in Florence. It was wonderful visiting the market during class. My 13 year old son also LOVED it. My husband and son thought it was the best meal we had while in Italy. We also loved climbing the Tower in Bologna and the Duomo in Florence. We could not have been happier with our hotel locations.
We loved our driver!!! We had great conversations with him. The festivities in the Bologna square were a lot of fun! There were even fireworks one night. The shopping was amazing.
On our way to do laundry in Bologna, we stopped at a local gelateria! It was the best gelato we had during our entire trip (and we ate gelato every night).
Seeing the statue of David was a tremendous highlight.
The staff at the hotel in Bologna was wonderful.
We found the chocolate shop in Florence to be delicious.
We also found the best sandwiches in Florence!
Our tour in Padua was fantastic, so much history. We loved our tour guide.
Lucca was a wonderful city to visit and so relaxing. We felt as if we were truly feeling the Italian way of life while visiting. We had an amazing meal at a restaurant in the center. I wish we had spent another day in Lucca and in Padua.
