We had a fantastic trip. Exactly what we needed.
We loved the hotel in Sanremo. Besides walking and swimming our favorite was the day we went to the Medieval towns. It was fascinating and someplace we never would have found on our own. We liked the Sanremo tour/wine tasting. Both guides were really great. The restaurants you all recommended were excellent.
Despite the rain we really enjoyed Portofino. Steve had never been there and was really happy we decided to go.
It was nice having the same driver take us to Portofino and the next day on to Nice. We were very glad to have that extra time in Monaco. We had lunch, went to the casino and just really enjoyed our day.
We walked and relaxed in Nice. The hotel concierge recommended restaurants for us all of which we really enjoyed.
If we had to do it again the only change we’d make is staying at the Sanremo hotel for a few days and maybe moving to the Portofino area for a few days as well.
