Trip to Puglia was wonderful; a very enjoyable view of the province hitting most of the highlights and some out of the way places as well. Having drivers take us on various excursions and to the different parts of the province made it even more enjoyable.
Masserie Torre Rossa was excellent with lovely rooms and a beautiful property – getting around without a car was somewhat challenging and would have been nice to have a few more food/drink options at the Masseria.
Palazzo de Noha in Lecce was extremely pleasant with a very good central location in the old town and nice well appointed rooms.
Sant’Angelo Luxury Resort in Matera was outstanding with beautiful rooms very typical of the sassi, a very good restuarant (bit of a climb to get to) and extremely friendly staff.
Excellent drivers throughout our trip – we were fortunate to have Giuseppe as our main driver all the time who was outstanding. Our guides in Lecce and Matera were also excellent.
We loved all of it but Matera and our experience there was truly something special.
