We would like to thank you for a terrific vacation to Italy. We sincerely appreciate all the hard work done by you and your staff to ensure that we had a very memorable first, and special, trip to Italy. Aside from a few small wrinkles, all our expectations were met or exceeded. Your team was very responsive to our needs and it was a relief to know that someone was always available to address our requests within a few minutes. All the drivers and tour guides were delightful, efficient, friendly and were happy to share Italian local culture with us, which we greatly appreciated. We also found with our ambitious itinerary that your team did a great job in allowing us sufficient time to sightsee and also to relax. As for accommodations: Our favorite hotel of our trip was the Palazzo Dipinto in Lucca. That hotel was very clean, updated with modern technology, had very professional staff, and a fantastic breakfast. We were also very pleased with the Grand Hotel De La Ville hotel in Sorrento. This hotel had the same impeccable standards and service as the Palazzo Dipinto.
A few thoughts to share that may be helpful for other international travelers: Clients will need an hour or more (in season) to taxi to the dock at Sorrento and to get a boarding ticket for the boat. The line at the booth was incredibly long and many people holding tickets did not make it to the boat and the boat left. Also, a trip to Cinque Terre from La Spezia train station simply requires more time and planning due to the number of tourists, lack of sufficient toilet facilities for visitors, and also to understand the nuances of the trains servicing the area, their schedules, and stopping points.
We would like to express our gratitude, again, for taking care of the extra charges for our Amalfi coast excursion that changed from a boat trip due to inclement weather to a driving tour. We couldn’t imagine coming all that way and missing the spectacular views of the Amalfi coast. We are grateful for your kind gesture and for pairing us with driver Renato Cuomo as he drove us through the villages and shared his knowledge with us.
We will definitely use your company again when we plan our next visit to Italy.
