We had a fantastic time in Sicily and Rome. The highlights were many but our favorite was the cooking class in Syracuse. Shopping for the ingredients in the street market then participating in making Swordfish rolls, ravioli, squash blossoms and cannolis and then eating all with a great bottle of wine was just amazing. All of our tour guides were punctual and very well educated and very fun. All our drivers were punctual and friendly. Our driver taking us to Mt Etna and the winery was so fun and helpful getting us to the airport the next day earlier due to traffic delays. He was our favorite driver. All restaurants recommended were excellent. Our accommodations were all 5 star properties but the hotel in Taormina was amazing. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Thanks again for a wonderful week in Sicily and three days in Rome. By the way the hotel in Rome was also amazing and they put us in a suite overlooking the main pedestrian street.
