Introduction

The journey moves through the villages, landscapes, and food traditions of Sardinia’s Blue Zone. Through local encounters, pastoral culture, and hands-on experiences, each stage offers insight into the habits and environments that continue to shape life in this part of the island.

Day 1: Arrival in Olbia and transfer to Oliena

Arrival at Olbia Airport and private transfer to Oliena, at the foot of Mount Corrasi. 

After check-in, enjoy time to settle in and take in the surrounding mountain landscape. End the day with an aperitivo overlooking the Supramonte, introducing the slower rhythm that characterizes this part of Sardinia.

Day 2: Lollove

Spend the day in Lollove, a small village where traditional lifestyles remain closely connected to the land. 

The morning begins with a wellness session and a guided exploration of the village, followed by a hands-on cheese-making workshop. After a lunch centered on local products, continue with a Filindeu workshop, discovering one of Sardinia’s rarest and most symbolic pasta traditions.

Day 3: Mamoiada, Cannonau and Masks culture

Begin the day with a walk to the Su Gologone spring, one of Sardinia’s most important karst formations. 

Continue to Mamoiada, where a vineyard lunch introduces the role of Cannonau wine within local culture. The afternoon is dedicated to the traditions of the island’s interior, with a visit to the Museum of Mediterranean Masks and a local artisan workshop where traditional masks are still carved by hand.

Day 4: Barbagia

After checking out, travel to Orgosolo, known for its murals and strong cultural identity. 

Explore the historic center with a guide and visit traditional textiles and silk producers. 

In the afternoon, continue toward Ogliastra, often considered the heart of Sardinia’s Blue Zone. Along the way, there is the opportunity to visit the archaeological site of S’Arcu e Is Forros

Day 5: Gulf of Orosei

Spend the day exploring the Gulf of Orosei by boat, reaching coves and beaches accessible only by sea. The dramatic limestone coastline offers a striking contrast to the inland landscapes visited earlier in the journey. 

Lunch is served on board. 

In the evening, experience a traditional dinner in an authentic ovile, where shepherding traditions, local products, and hospitality remain deeply connected.

Day 6: Culurgiones and the Blue Zone landscape

Learn how to prepare Culurgiones, one of Sardinia’s most iconic filled pastas, through a hands-on cooking experience. 

In the afternoon, travel by 4×4 into the interior of Ogliastra, reaching the area around Perda ‘e Liana, one of the island’s most distinctive natural monuments. A gentle walk introduces the landscape before reaching a traditional pinnetto, where local products are served as the sun sets over the surrounding countryside.

Day 7: Sailing and time by the sea

A final morning dedicated to the coast, with a half-day sailing experience or time to enjoy the beaches of Ogliastra at your own pace. 

The remainder of the day is left free to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere that defines this part of Sardinia.
