Introduction

This journey explores Sardinia through its contrasts, moving from luminous coastal landscapes to the island’s rugged interior.

Day 1: Costa Smeralda

Arrival at Olbia Airport and transfer to your hotel in the Costa Smeralda, where the Mediterranean landscape immediately sets the tone for the journey. 

In the afternoon, visit one of the most representative wineries of Gallura.

The day ends along the coast, as you settle into the relaxed yet refined rhythm of northern Sardinia.

OLBIA_OVERVIEW

Day 2: La Maddalena Archipelago

Spend the morning exploring the La Maddalena Archipelago on a private boat. Sail through clear turquoise waters, reaching secluded coves and beaches accessible only by sea. 

During the excursion, enjoy a guided walk through the historic center of La Maddalena town, followed by a traditional lunch served on board, surrounded by the archipelago’s granite islands.  

In the afternoon, return to the mainland and enjoy free time in San Pantaleo, a small village known for its artistic atmosphere and dramatic rock formations. An aperitif in the village square offers a moment to observe local life.

LAMADDALENA_OVERVIEW

Day 3: Barbagia

Leave the coast and begin your journey inland toward Barbagia, crossing landscapes that become progressively more rugged and remote. 

Stop in Posada, one of Italy’s most beautiful medieval villages, for a guided walk through its stone streets and hilltop viewpoints. Visit small artisan workshops and learn about local craftsmanship traditions. 

Continue towards Oliena and check-in at your hotel in the Supramonte region.

BARBAGIA_OVERVIEW

Day 4: Lollove

Dedicate the entire day to an immersive experience in Lollove, a nearly uninhabited stone village where time seems to have slowed almost to a halt. Meet some of the few remaining residents, who share personal stories, memories of childhood, and moments of everyday life over coffee and traditional sweets. 

Take part in a hands-on cheese-making workshop, followed by a guided walk through the village. The day continues with a culinary session focused on traditional Sardinian pasta and desserts, prepared alongside local experts.

CHEESEMAKING_OVERVIEW

Day 5: Orgosolo

In the morning, travel to Orgosolo, a mountain village renowned for its political murals. A guided visit reveals how these large-scale paintings narrate local history, social struggles, and collective memory.  

In the afternoon, explore the Museum of Mediterranean Masks, which introduces the mysterious carnival figures of the island’s interior. The experience concludes with a visit to a mascheraio, an artisan who carves traditional wooden masks.

ORGOSOLO_OVERVIEW

Day 6: Gulf of Orosei

Depart from the port of Cala Gonone for a full-day private yacht excursion along the Gulf of Orosei. Sail beneath towering limestone cliffs and reach iconic beaches such as Cala LunaCala Mariolu, and Cala Goloritzé, accessible only by sea. The day allows time for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring hidden sea caves.  

Return to Oliena in the late afternoon.

OROSEI_OVERVIEW

Day 7: Return to Olbia and departure

Begin your return journey north toward Olbia. Along the way, choose between a visit to Nuragic village of Serra Orrios, one of the island’s best-preserved prehistoric sites, or a final coastal stop at Capo Comino, known for its white sand dunes and clear waters.  

Continue to Olbia Airport for your departure.
