The drivers were excellent and could not have been any more accommodating. The hotels were superb with excellent staff and a willingness to help in any way they could. Our best guides were Lauren in Pisa and Phillipe in Rome. Very impressed with the restaurant in the Hilton Hotel at the Rome Airport. We were in Italy for 16 days and everything ran smoothly. Drivers were on time; guides were always there when we arrived and very knowledgeable about the area. It was an excellent vacation.
The services were excellent. In Positano the hotel staff printed things for us for what we needed to leave the country; we got room service every morning and they were always there at the appointed time. In Rome the hotel staff were wonderful as well, always willing to help in any way they could.
We would have loved to have extra time to shop in several of the towns, especially Florence. We did not want to hold the drivers up and realized they were on a schedule. Maybe mention to people booking their trips that if they wanted extra time to shop, that the drivers would accommodate but there would be an extra charge.
