The wine day was wonderful. The first stop was at a little organic farm where the owner gave us a tour of her wine room, and then sat us down for tastings and a little food. It was perfect! Beautiful place! She talked to us while we tasted, telling us info and answering our numerous questions. This was the first place, so we had questions! The second place was really impressive: it was a large vineyard, and the gentleman gave us a very detailed tour. Then we had the multi-course lunch with different wines at each course, which was to die for! And lastly, we went to a very small, family-owned vineyard. It was a beautiful setting, and he was very informative. We were pretty “relaxed” by this point, so it was the perfect place to end the tour. We really enjoyed seeing the different vineyards and processes.
The driver was very fun and knowledgeable. He spoke perfect English (as well as 6 other languages). He gave us a lot of detailed answers and lots of information about the area. We were full of questions, as I’m sure you can imagine! I think all four of us would HIGHLY recommend him.
