OUR GROUPS
Tours that are encumbered to move large amounts of people are not equipped to offer the traveler a unique and real experience. Our tour groups are restricted to a minimum of six and a maximum of twelve people. In this way it is possible to explore places that would otherwise be inaccessible to a large tour bus or tour group.
Furthermore, the use of a minibus instead of larger tour vehicles reduces the impact on local traffic, avoids possible parking problems, and diminishes any irritation on local daily life.
In a large group it would be impossible to stay in a charming family owned hotels, move about cities and villages with ease, deviate from the main roads, browse the shops of local artisans and wander with your local guides who will become your travel companions. Therefore enjoying the best conditions for exploring and discovering “your” Italy.
The groups form gradually as the reservations arrive through the website. The groups meet for the first time in Rome at the beginning of the tour. Not only will the participants be able to of course enjoy their Italian experience in the places visited but they will also be able to create new friendships with the other travelers in their group who share similar interests.

You will be guests in hotels that have been chosen as the result of a long selection process. Only after meeting and visiting with the owners and their staff we do start to get an idea of what the hotel has to offer our clients. It passes the test once we have been demonstrated the passion they have for their work and the immense care they take for their clients day after day.
On the itinerary are only hotels that have proven their sense of style, a fondness to detail, and an elegance typical of the Italian character. While visiting main cities, we guarantee a luxury stay in minimum four stars hotels located in the most beautiful areas of the city centre. While visiting small towns and villages, you will stay in historical mansions, villas, period style homes and hotels.
The restaurants we have chosen are the most traditional and elegant; the most expressive of Italy’s culinary arts, ready to offer you the best there is to offer. Above all, these restaurants are frequented and appreciated by the local Italians, which says so much as to the authenticity and quality.
In addition, in every one of our tours we have added a stop dedicated to the local gastronomy. These stops could be either a cooking lesson on the Neapolitan Pizza or on the Saltimbocca alla Romana or on the Pesto or many other typical Italian dishes, either a lunch or dinner in a local eatery or a food and wine tasting in one of the many renowned Italian vineyards. In any case, you’ll be sure to take home with you the real flavors of Italy.
OUR GUIDES
We have organized the tour so that every stop has a different specialized guide instead of one single guide throughout the whole tour, allowing you to get the most out of each part of your journey.
The choice to collaborate with local guides is our way of financially supporting local Italian communities; keeping the money in the places you visit. What’s more, you’re able to create friendships with new people, each with their own experiences, different cultural backgrounds, and their own specialties to share.
Our guides have been selected based on their experience, their understanding of important sites and works of art, their skill in engaging those they guide as well as the originality of their guiding proposals. All of our guides speak great English (or any other language you may request).
LOCAL LIFE AND EVENTS
The last aspect of our tours, but certainly not the least, is the experience of the local festivals and events. Italy is a country rich in artistic, folkloric and gastronomic events. Some of which by now have reached a level of international fame. A few examples of this might be: the Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of Two Worlds) of Spoleto, both the Opera at the Arena in Verona, the Palio of Siena and the Carnevale (Carnival) of Venice. In every month of the year, in every region in Italy, there is always some sort of event, an expression of local tradition. A large majority of these are known of and attended only by Italians.
